Your post reply is much more AWESOME! hahahaha I thought you might like this pic as much as I do, haha.
I’ll take some pics tomorrow, but for now will tell you I was able to get you these souviner’s…two 2010 Chiefs Draft Day can koozies, and a super awesome huge Chiefs Amassador’s poster! It’s 24 inches by 36 inches! It’s really cool! I got one for me too!
They only allowed one per person, but I explained to the guy passing them out, that there was a special Australian Chiefs fan, of which it was impossible for him to be at Draft Day, & asked if I could please have two…he smiled and handed me a second one! HA!!
Also, I have for you a Chiefs Cheerleaders poster, it’s about 12×16 inches. I walked around and had many of the Chiefs Cheerleaders autograph it for you too. One of them put at the bottom ‘To Aussie’…then all the rest signed their names near where they are in the group pic.
They didn’t have player photo cards this year, so the sign that KC Wolf is holding saying ‘hi’…is what I had the Chiefs players autograph that were at the autograph table when I went through the line. Some are past Chiefs greats, like Bill Maas…some autographs I’m not sure who is who, as they don’t all write clearly, haha. I’ll ask Kelly to clarify so I can tell you for sure who signed your paper…he had them sign stuff for him too, & he has a better memory for stuff like that then I do, haha.
I picked you up some Chiefs literature too, describing the ‘new Arrowhead’, with diagrams, etc.. Also some Chiefs game schedule cards, they fold for use in billfolds & such.
I’ll mail it all to you the first of the week, before I fly to Tampa on Wednesday.

It’s time for me to go to Chiefs Super Bowl dreamland! It’s been a long day, but I wanted to get all the pics I took at Draft Day re-sized, uploaded & posted here in the picture forum.
Good night to all at Chiefs Crowd!

04/23/2010 at 5:30 pm #932187Connie~ That’s really super of you to do for Aussie! Way to go girl!!!!
04/23/2010 at 6:35 pm #932197Well, to be honest Brenda…it never occurred to me I was doing anything special at the time. I just thought Aussie would get a kick out of it, and on the drive home I kept thinking about his reaction to my posting the pic as a surprise for him to come across when he logged in here, & was anxious for him to see it, lol.
His reaction, and a related post Aussie’s mom left me at Facebook mentioning her gratitude for the KC Wolf pic, which I read right before I went to bed early this morning…have me feeling a bit over whelmed & humbled. It was after reading Aussie’s mom’s post, that I realized I had done something special without even knowing it.
It amazes me how the ‘little things’ we do at times for others without thinking about it…can turn to being of priceless value, including for our own hearts. I went to sleep feeling a bit teary eyed myself with a warm humbled heart.
What began as a mere simple gesture to make someone happily smile, has evolved into a picture & memory of priceless value I’ll hold forever in my heart now too.

04/24/2010 at 4:56 am #932432Ryan, aka YZILLA, thank you. I’m humbled, honestly. Truth be told, my so called heart of gold is guided by God, he deserves the credit, not me, haha. Heck, he guides me without my even knowing it sometimes, obviously, lol.
I should clarify, that I ain’t no Saint…my personality is too darn ornery & spunky to be a Saint, but I deal with it, and so does God, hahaha.
That said, no truer words have been spoken YZILLA (Ryan)… surrounding yourself with good hearted people will bring your life many priceless moments aka blessings. YZILLA, Canada, Tammie…those I’ve met, and many I’ve not at Chiefs Crowd…have hearts of gold, which is why I choose to surround myself with y’all.
I’m a very sentimental & loyal person by nature. I become easily attached in my heart to those of whom have brought blessings to my life in a variety of ways…such as friendship. I also consider simply making me smile & laugh at times with a post a blessing, some of those at times most needed. I firmly believe in paying it forward…and that’s all I did related to having KC Wolf say ‘hi’ to Aussie, and including him in our Draft experience & memories.
Knowing Aussie through Chiefs Crowd, as well as having the opportunity to chat with & get to know his ‘mum’ some…have been blessings in my life.
Y’all have brought blessings of cherished friendship & memories to my life, and I’ve no doubt there will be many more blessings as a result of my being a proud member of Chiefs Crowd. Y’all found a place in my heart, and it’ll be that way for life. God guided me here, of that I’ve no doubt.
Nuff with the mushy stuff! haha
