Postgame @Cardinals

Well well well what do we have here another season underway.

I think it’s safe to say they looked just fine without Hill today. Patrick Mahomes looked like he was on a mission. I think all the talk about them taking a big step back added some fuel to the fire. And that is good news for us.

Offense was outstanding. Moved the ball at will. The Cardinals simply had no answers. Now we have to keep in mind the Cardinals were missing JJ Watt. But I don’t think he would have made a difference in THAT game. Ju Ju looked really good in his first outing. But he is going to have to work on ball security this week big time. Can’t have the turnovers. We saw how much turnovers hurt this team a year ago. Got to get that fixed.

Defense. WOW! what a difference a year makes. The Cardinals had trouble doing anything for most that game. They did have the 1 scoring drive in the first half. But I would say with this offense giving up 1 TD a half would be fine. The score will make some think they played worse. But a couple of garbage time TDs don’t take away from what they did. They set the tone.

Coaching. Andy Reid gets an A+ today. When you come on and dominate a team like that on both sides of the ball how can you give him anything else. Well done Big Red well done.

Injuries are a little bit of a concern. Mahomes lookes like he should be fine. Lucky that it’s his non throwing hand. Might want to bring some kickers in for a look just in case he is needed Thursday night. McDuffie is the biggest worry for me. He is going to be needed.

Short week this week we at least are at home but time to get into division play. Lets keep it rolling GO CHIEFS
