Breeland Is a great #2 Cornerback with Fuller in the Slot, we still need to find a #1 in the Draft, and have Mathieu play Free Safety and find a Strong Deep Safety in the Draft.
Sounds like a 1 year deal for 5 million. That seems kind of low given some of the contracts given out. He is only 27.

Maybe the Chiefs are being cautious because of the foot injury. (Think: Eric Berry.) It’s only for one year so if he shines they can give him a fat contract next year. If he struggles the Chiefs aren’t saddled with a big contract.

Well he held out from signing with us last year because he wanted a multi year deal. Then he signs a on year deal for only 5 million. His market dropped so far in just one year. He has a 40 million dollar deal with he Panthers until he got hurt. From what I can tell, he didn’t have a bad half year with the Packers. I guess not enough to prove it for a bigger contract.
