No surprise here. Glad we didn’t take a shot at this guy. Sounds like he has all the potential in the world but lacks the work ethic. That and I think he really really really really likes food.
07/27/2010 at 6:23 pm #937439Give me a handful with marginal talent who’s all heart and work ethic over a few who’s all talent and no heart or work ethic any time.
07/27/2010 at 7:38 pm #937451glad that he is someone eles problem.

Terrance Cody is just fat.

He can’t be that fat, as he passed the conditioning test today.
Terrence Cody of Baltimore Ravens passes test, cleared to practice – ESPN
Guy’s going to be a stud.

A lot of people failed the conditioning test last season because Herm was not one to keep the team in the best of shape. One of the many reasons that he is not cut out to be a good NFL head coach. That is what set this team back while he was here. Adding yet anther guy like that would not have helped this team IMO.07/28/2010 at 10:23 pm #937499matthewschiefs;194409 wrote:Once again we disagree. lol

But Cody is going to be whipped into shape by Harbaugh and his teammates. It’s already beginning, or he wouldn’t have passed the test.
The same could have happened here. Instead, we’ll get to enjoy 16 weeks of Ron Edwards (a guy I like, but who’s completely out of his depth at NT) getting run over.

Yes he will be whipped into playing shape. I get that. But that was part of the problem in KC last year. Training camp was spent trying to get this team into shape. If you are having to spend time getting guys into shape then thats less time you have to get the things that make the good teams good. The more guys that we have that are like Cody who will most likely have this problem every year the longer it will take this team to get into contention for superbowls.
Ron Edwards might not be great and it would be better to have Cody in some ways but long term it’s better for this team to find a guy who you won’t have to worry about getting to camp in shape.
07/29/2010 at 6:49 am #937536just what the hell are we going to do now for a NT! huh? You take that chance at draftn Cody.
When you are a 3-4 D, what is the most important piece of the front 7?
Our current wont suffice!
The reality of it is we will more than likely CONTINUE to be at the bottom when it comes to pash rush and run stopping…..
,..but i hope im wrong.
07/29/2010 at 2:38 pm #937547Yes the coach said that shows he is in shape will round is a shape.
