Ya right!!!! I think he is proving why we dumped him. He’s not smart enough to run a Pop Warner team!
I think that Thigpen with the right team could be a good QB in the NFL. He had not started a game in almost 2 years. But I am glad we moved him. He was not the right fit for the Chiefs.
Thigpen had 3 days to get prepared. Loses his best WR. Had to run most of the time because his OL couldn’t stop much. I doubt any QB could have done any better.
they only called 3 running plays in the first half, the pass rush was all over him….even with that he did not fare badly. 59% completions with a defense playing pass all the way
He may be able to get out of the pocket but he simply doesn’t have the smarts to play at this level.
