I was born a chiefs fan in 1987. I have always been lucky because my dad has had season tickets forever. So, I was able to enjoy Arrowhead during the 90s and beyond.

I have always felt a part of the Chiefs Nation. People like me from all over America and other countries love the Chiefs. Being a part of the Red Sea is like no other feeling. All of us cheering and hollering and ranting and being crazy as one is amazing!

I try to explain Arrowhead and being a Chiefs fan to friends from out of town, but they never believe me because of the team’s performance lately. I tell them that there was a time when everyone feared the crowd. And, after MNF versus the Chargers, I felt like I was put in a time machine and sent back to the glory days.

The beautiful thing is that now with a renovated stadium, this is the time to reclaim our fandemonium. It’s time to be crazy and lose our inhibitions for a few awesome hours every Sunday.

What I experienced as a youngster set me up to never give up on the Chiefs. I think we all believe that the glory days will return. And, I think they have.

Here’s to all of us stupid Chiefs fans who don’t care what others say or think. We know we have the best crowd in football history. Let’s keep on proving it and willing our Chiefs to a dream season and many more. Go Chiefs!
