What kind of deranged person would come up with something like beer. Can you follow this thought process?
Hey, you know, let’s make up a drink. Yeah, we will take some barley, crush it up and bowl it in water for a couple of hours. Yeah, and then we will take these flowers, of course they smell good, but they taste really bitter, they will be perfect to put in our beer. We will boil those in the barley for a while too, just to make the beer really bitter.
Then we will put in some bugs, well bacteria really, but we will put those bugs in the beer and let it sit for a couple of weeks.
We’ll then pour it in our tankards and drink it!!!
I don’t know who came up with it, but I am sure glad they did!

Beer is one of the world’s oldest prepared beverages, possibly dating back to the early Neolithic or 9500 BC,……. those drunken cave men, way to go man!!!! so thats why we call it a “man cave”
