Free agent receiver Rod Streater is heading to Kansas City. Streater has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Seems like a lot of money for a guy that has a 2 year history of injury. But if most of that $4.8 million is in incentives and not guaranteed money then I think this is a GREAT SIGNING. If he can stay healthy Streater could make a really great #2 WR. We saw last season that Alex actually can complete the 20-40 yard passes if he gets a little time and IF he has receivers that are really willing to go the extra mile to get the completion. Take the hit. Go up in the air for the ball even though doing so means taking a brutal hit. Come back for the ball. Dive for the ball. If Streater could become a mini-Maclin we could have a VERY SCARY passing game.

Streater is a gamble but if the contract is written as a true "Prove it" contract then I LOVE this signing.

I surely hope those Raider fans are right! Still curious as to what the details of the contract are.
