Also, has anyone ever heard of that name, Mitt, before? I was trying to think if I have and nothing came to mind. So I googled the word “Mitt” and page after page has NOTHING except Mitt Romney. Says he was born Willard Mitt Romney, so he goes by his middle name.
Oh I just looked at wikipedia and it says his middle name comes from his uncle Milton. So I guess Mitt is a nickname for Milton as Teddy is for Theodore. Heh, it says his uncle Milton was a quarterback for the Chicago Bears from 1925-1929. With a name like Mitt it would have been more apt for his uncle to be a baseball player. (Get it? Like a catcher’s mitt? haw haw haw!)
