Yea it was my rank and what the rank is called by the Army. I was a Chaplins assistant until I became a E-5 then I basically was assigned to drive the company commander around and protect him. I was in the Special Forces which is why I was assigned to protecting the Chaplin and company commander. Chaplin isn’t allowed to carry weapons so they had me go with him everywhere , even when I was driving the CO around. It was a cool job until I actually got hurt.
