Which site should I sign-up for when I turn 13 on the 19th of August? Facebook or Myspace? :bananen_smilies046:
BTW, can one of the admins move this thread to the Locker room Forum, and then delete this message?
05/12/2009 at 7:07 am #883891Neither.
You too much of a computer geek.
Get out and do a walkabout or hunt kangaroos or whatever it is you Aussies do.
05/12/2009 at 7:14 am #883893I would go facebook- it’s just better for being in contact with people.
But Sn@keIze does have a point- make sure to go outside. Hell- you could even play *football*

I wish I could play NFL. But there isn’t a league for kids! :sadbanana:

I live in “SYDNEY”! The most populated city down under.
05/12/2009 at 8:49 am #883896I enjoy facebook. It’s a good way to chat with your friends and make new friends. It has alot of games to play and share with your friends. You can post pictures of you and your family and share with your friends, This is really good since one of my sons lives in baltimore,MD An Since I spent 24 years in the Navy I have friends all over the country.
If you join you would be able to chat with all your friends from Chiefscrowd that are members.

:11:Cool. What I’m trying to figure out here though, is what is used the most and what other people like the most, so I can join the best one.:bananen_smilies046:

05/12/2009 at 12:56 pm #874758Facebook is the best but make sure you are active outdoors as well.
As far as no youth football leagues around there…Maybe it is time to get one started, eh?
05/12/2009 at 1:22 pm #874759I won’t vote because I had Myspace for a few months, and grew terribly bored with it, then just abandoned it.
And Facebook is essentially the same basic concept.
It was fun for a little bit. But then it just petered out.
05/12/2009 at 2:18 pm #874764I use both, and love the social networking that the sites allow me to do. I would have to say facebook is the best, because its cleaner, and simpler to use than myspace. But myspace is ideal, if you really want your page to be unique, and to be undeniably yours. If I could only choose one, it would be facebook.

Now thats a great ideal dbolan, Aussie you should definitely get with your parents and look into starting a junior football league. Of course you would have to call it American football over there, otherwise everyone would show up with soccer balls.
05/12/2009 at 2:47 pm #874768I voted for facebook because I know nothing about myspace I tried to set it up once but I know a lot more people (family and friends) that use facebook so that is what I use. I get to keep up with what is going on in the lifes of them all. I get to see new pictures of my grandkids almost daily thanks to my daughter-in-law. I managed to got in touch with some people I used to work with 10 years ago.
But also agree at 13 you should be outdoors even if you had to play fotball (soccer to us NFL fans). Also do you have Boy Scouts in Aussie land? That is something my son and his friends loved to do at 12-18 it is not a sport but it gets you out of the house one night a week and one weekend a month and teaches you many skills including how to cook for yourself at least the basic meals you know good ole mom will not always be there to cook for you when you go off to university and/or move out on your own.
05/12/2009 at 8:56 pm #883912Facebook is for the mature Aussie. Not calling you immuature, but facebook is a generalization for people out of highschool.

Another thing, I don’t think just me and my parents will be enouph to form a whole league! And also I’m not exactly big for my age!:bananen_smilies046:
